Hybrid (online) and in person lab QMA Training

Next Class: 4/29 thru 5/28

Orientation: 4/26, 10:30am  to 12 pm

This course meets once a week in person on Tuesday from 3:30 pm to 7 pm. All other days are online. If you are not A SELF MOTIVATED learner, we suggest you wait for our full in person class that begins in June. That class meets Tues. Wed. Thur. from 3:30p - 7:30p. 

 

In order to sign up for the QMA course the student must:

  • Be a current CNA and have worked at least 1,000 hours in the last 2 years.

  • Be at least 18 years of age.

  • Provide proof of HS diploma or equivalent.

  • Be in good standing on the ISDH aide registry. â€‹

 

In Indiana, it is required that a prospective QMA take a 100 hour course that consists of 60 hours of classroom training and teaching followed by 40 hours of hands on clinical experience. Once the course is completed, the student will take a written exam administered by Ivy Tech Community College.
